Coming Soon Has Arrived—Welcome to the Innography Blog

About 3 months ago we launched a new Innography website with a placeholder for our blog labeled “Coming Soon.” Well we thought it was about time for soon to be now. So here it is—our first posting. I’ve blogged at previous companies and on my own personal photo blog, so I know the hardest posting is the first one because all good blogs have regular postings. We know it’s a commitment, so here we go!

Almost exactly a year ago we launched the Innography IP business intelligence platform and started selling to lots of companies. Since that time it’s been a wild ride as we’ve sold to and developed relationships with some great customers. Many of them are thought leaders in their own industries, so we’ve learned a lot from them and them from us. Because of them our product has evolved a lot over the last year as well. We plan for this blog to be a place where we can share some of those insights, as well as a place to converse with our customers, prospects and the market in general about interesting topics, and share our point of view on newsworthy industry happenings.

To keep it lively we’ll have several Innography bloggers. Innography’s founder and CTO, Tyron Stading and I (Doug Miller, CMO) will comment on Industry Insights sharing our point of view on happenings in IP, patents, and business intelligence. Tyron, along with Ryan Rozich (one of our engineers), will post on Technology Forecasts discussing how emerging technology might have an impact on how things get done in our industry. Roji John (another of our engineers), Ryan and I will be posting on User Insights sharing some of the unique ways customers are gaining business advantage through IP intelligence (without giving up any big secrets of course). And Ryan and Roji will be posting on Application Trends discussing how new applications are shaping user behavior in our world.

All in all, we hope it will be an interesting blog that will keep you engaged and enlightened. But even more importantly, we hope you will participate in the blog. If you use a feed reader please subscribe to the RSS feed. Every posting will be open for comments and we are optimistic that this can become a great place for an industry dialog. Don’t be bashful, if you have a point-of-view about one of our posts, please share it. Our only request is that you keep it clean and respectful.
