Despite heavy snow during the morning commute, about two dozen Innography clients braved the weather to attend our 2013 Northeast Training Day in Tarrytown, NY.

Attendees heard from John Martin, Innography Chairman and CEO, about the company's strategic direction and product roadmap for the next year. Carlisha Robinson, our Director of Product Management, gave an update on the Fall 2013 Release as well as an early look at next week's "Stocking Stuffer" update features. With the product momentum in recent releases and plans for 2014, one client commented that Innography is "leaps and bounds ahead of others".

The bulk of the training day involved a half-dozen workshops taught by Debbie Cohen and Esmaeil Khaksari from the Client Success team, who dove into topics such as licensing, competitive intelligence, and advanced tips. Attendees appreciated the immersive training and also took away a copy of the IP AnswerGuide.

The day's highlights were two presentations by Innography clients.  Aaron Waxler, VP IP Licensing of NXP Semiconductors, spoke about his team's use of Innography as a starting point that provides guidance and focus on patent analysis to provide faster and less expensive results.  During the discussion, multiple clients compared notes on their various approaches to utilizing IP analytics.

Although the uncertain weather required some creative juggling of the agenda as the day progressed, all the topics were covered as planned. Thanks to all our presenters and to our clients who braved the snow and cold to join us in Tarrytown. See you in Austin at Insights 2014 next April 22-24!
