Innography Granted Second U.S. Patent and Awaits Issuance of Third Pending Patent

Latest Patents Demonstrate Innography’s Usability Innovations in Presenting Complex Search Results

Innography, the innovative software provider of better intellectual property answers for improved business results, today announces that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent 8,583,592 for its “System and Methods of Searching Data Sources” invention.  In early 2014, an additional patent for the organizations’ “System to Provide Search Results via a User-Configurable Table” will also be granted.  Both patents reflect Innography’s commitment to and achievements in innovation, especially in the area of usability to generate insights in complex search results.

The patents’ claims relate to presenting multiple sets of data to end-users in a highly configurable and useful manner. “System and Methods of Searching Data Sources” covers searching multiple data sources and combining the results based on metadata and personalization settings. The forthcoming “System to Provide Search Results via a User-Configurable Table” patent covers presenting search results in a multi-table graphical user interface, based on user configurations and controls.

Together with a previously-issued Innography patent, U.S. Patent 8,176,440 “System and Method of Presenting Search Results,” these patents are indicators of Innography’s market-leading product innovation in IP analytics.  Building on its compelling PatentStrength™ capability, Innography has added analyst-acclaimed capabilities in releases this year.
